I grew up in the late '70s/early '80s and recall most of the spooky stuff I watched, except one or two movies/programmes. One I can't remember the title of had one specific scene, involving a monkey/chimp (can't recall if it was a dummy or real animal, but I'm guessing a toy) that had cymbals and a spike on its rear end. All I remember is the monkey crashing the cymbals but jumping on people, the spike, obviously, stabbing people. It was really freaky and reminds me of a combination of the Hammer House episode 'Charlie Boy' and the Dan Curtis 'Amelia' episode of 'Trilogy of Terror', can anyone help. Thanks

Wow! That could be it...I hope. I don't recall if it was an English film, but certainly the monkey with cymbals is striking. I wouldn't imagine many films had a psycho toy monkey, but I'm sure I recall a spike...many thanks. This has only bugged me for about 25 years!!!
