I am trying to find a 1960's / 70's film title. A bit vague: I can recall there was a girl who came from rich backgound. She was involved with a motor cycle gang. I think the girl introduced the gang leader to the family and the boy was offered money to go away. I believe the leader of the gang rode to his death and the gang gathered at some kind of primitive ritual, whilst a song called "Riding High" (I think) was played. It is particularly the song that I am trying to locate.

No definitely not Up the Juntion (I had a feeling someone would say that). There are no factories / pregnancies / abortions etc.,
It is not set in the town / city.... More country lanes and rural.

    Psychomania (1973)?

Yes! It must be. The song was actually called 'Riding Free':

The whole film is on YouTube. I haven't seen this since the 1980s.

Up the Junction immediately came to mind when you mentioned a girl from a rich background and a motorcycle death.

My pleasure. When I first saw the film, on ITV, I recognised Mary Larkin from X, Y and Zee. I'll be seeing her again soon, as it happens, in Timeslip. The series' website has a profile page for the actress:

Wow , that brings back memories. Somehow (no idea how), the actual screen script for Zee and Co. fell into my hands in 1972. It was the first Edna O' Brien I ever read and it was odd reading it in script form.
