John Howard Davies Night starts 7.45pm
Sunday Telegraph preview:
A night of vintage viewing on BBC2 as the channel dedicates its schedule to comedy producer John Howard Davies, who died in August last year. Throughout the Seventies and Eighties Howard Davies played a key role in bringing a host of now-classics to the screen, including Fawlty Towers, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Steptoe & Son, The Good Life and Only Fools and Horses.
Saturday's retrospective kicks off with a profile of Davies, before settling in for some choice moments with the Fawltys, Leadbetters and Steptoes. The evening is rounded off with a documentary on the story behind Monty Python.
