I wouldn't believe the Zavvi running times. I always use the BBFC or DVD Compare.

Per the BBFC the theatrical(24fps) running time is 110m5s and the Pal (25pfs) time is 105m43s. This is the running time given to the DVD release by Cornerstone in 2012 (which may include distributor idents).

I believe the UK home video releases have always been the BBFC cut theatrical print. Cut are various F bombs to get the A/PG certificate and a nude shot of Elke Sommer emerging from the shower

Is your belief that the Cornerstone Media DVD is legitimate based on the fact that they have officially classified the release with the BBFC?

There are various bootlegs or 'public domain' copies that get certified by the BBFC. However, the BBFC running times can be relied upon (at least in the video era onwards) rather than running times on Amazon or the back of the box.

Interestingly, there is also an increasing trend of companies not putting stuff through the BBFC and releasing it straight to the likes of Amazon with bogus certificates. There are also numerous cases of distributors not re-certifying works - presumably under the 'same versions' exemption - even though a different (uncut) version has been submitted. Odeon are particularly guilty of this - the uncut version of Island of Terror has never appeared on the BBFC website as are Warner with various Steven Seagal moves.
