According To Chet Baker's "lost memoir" - "As Though I Had Wings" mentions a Susan Hayward film that Chet appeared in, that was filmed at Shepperton Studios. Baker mentions the winter of 1962 in the same chapter, but in view of his heavy drug use I'm not sure how much attention should be paid to dates. Couldn't find anything on IMDB. Any idea what it might be ?

Chet appears only briefly in Stolen Hours, playing a trumpet player at a party. It is disputed as to whether it is actually his playing on the soundtrack. Having seen the film (which is crap) it doesn't sound like Chet, but then it was made after he had lost all his teeth during an encounter with a drug dealer's hammer.

During the height of his 'James Dean of Jazz' phase he had a role in a film called Hell's Horizon, which is also crap.

Billy, to search for joint enterprises on the IMDb, go to the page for one person and then scroll down to almost the bottom of the page where you'll find a not very obvious link saying:
Click on the link, give the name of the other person, select from the list if there's more than one, then do the searchAdditional Searches
Find where ... is credited alongside another name
It'll show you all/any titles that they're both listed against

Many thanks Capn, Bats and Steve. I wasn't expecting the English flick to be any good, but was curious to know which one it was. He mentions his earlier excursion into film in his memoir too and didn't seem to care for the film making process at all, hardly surprising for a junkie !
