    Hi,
I admit she does look like Albert Steptoe. I wonder who should be Harold?

    Alan French.

Has anyone actually seen this film ? It was not shown for very long here and I missed it. The cast list is impressive. Is it worth pre-ordering the DVD from Amazon ?

Is it Robin Williams as Steptoe in the new US remake?

As for the film it was rather dull Best bit is the title, a woman decides to live life as a man & calls herself Mr Nobbs!!!!!!!!!!

Janet McTeer is supposed to give an "Oscar winning performance". But Glenn Close looks like a bloke who's had a facelift in that pic, which is a fairly unusual sight unless you're Mickey Rourke.
