Some shots from inside Steeds taxi. I'll admit that the last two could be a painted backcloth.

I hope no-one minds me dredging up this thread, but we've just suffered our way through this episode and it is (IMO) laughably poor. It's almost as if they were caught without a story (and also minus Diana Rigg) and had to fling something together as they went along. A terrible mess.

Nah, the old lady wobbling about on the bike, stabbing people with knitting needles goes down as one of the scariest things ever! And it has Bernard Cribbins AND Alfred Burke. Not one of the best, sure (it's a shame about Liz Fraser) but still good to rewatch.

Have to agree that this episode has its weaknesses - with the cast and 'comedy' music, it could almost be 'Carry On Avenging' !

Thanks CBC -I think this is the first 'spot' for this location. Where are we looking from? I've two options for the arch and collums in the top left, but nothing else seems to fit. Is it possible the image has been flipped and we are looking at the site of the Millbank Tower?

Its not been flipped, the cabs driving west with parliament to the left off screen. That double kerbs still there, as is the distinctive building with two small windows between the partition window and the drivers face.

    Cheers

The arch and columns are at no 4 Millbank, although in the google street maps view it's hidden by a tree from every angle !
