Wow, I never thought I'd see an official release of Valley Of Song. Although I have a good off-air recording this will be most welcome. One hopes it comes with some decent documentation. For those who haven't seen it, it is IMO a very entertaining film with a sense of humour, good shots of a bygone Wales and a wonderful performance from Rachel Roberts. See if you can spot a couple of seconds of Kenneth Williams playing a bit part in only his second film.

Sadly both titles have been pulled from the release schedule.........

Still it was Studio canal, what more could you expect.........

Let's add these to the list of other titles promised but not delivered by this distributor.

Moviemail is now giving a dispatch date of 20th January 2013 for these titles, so hopefully they will materialize, even if two months late!

Arrived today, judging by the quality they'll need to drop the price again. There's no digital restoration been done on this, so be prepared for blobs on screen and some buzz on the soundtrack. And three months late. Well done Studio canal.
