If you get the chance to see this awesomely impressive and magnificently photographed film, do not miss it. Directed and photographed by Ron Fricke who made the brilliant and similar Baraka (1992) of which this essentially a sequel, and who also photographed Koyaanisquatsi (1983). Filmed over 5 years entirely in Panavison 70mm (very rare these days) like Baraka it is a truly stunning and occasionally disturbing kalaidescope of images from around the world that will stay with you long after the end credits.

If you can, see it as I did, in full 70mm 4K digital projection in 2:40:1 aspect in 7.1 surround (at the Curzon Mayfair) and it is mesmerising and then get Baraka on Blu -Ray.

    Superb!

Agreed! The combination of a 70mm source combined with 4k digital projection produces the most stunning image quality I've ever seen on screen.
