    Aha! A familiar face!

Just not to me, although it is amazing how a pair of goggles and a 'tash can obscure an identity - I'll never doubt Green Arrow again.

Also I was labouring under the misapprehension that this was set in the nineteen thirties - obviously not, due to the man with zips.

So biplanes, birds, stately homes (or at least well-to-do), marriages, music gigs, cattle markets, an actor who looks like David Robb and Blues Brother's lookalikes...

    HEARTBEAT?
    LOVEJOY?
    ROCKLIFFE'S FOLLY?
    MONARCH OF THE GLEN?

Please forgive ridiculous guesswork, but it's all I have.

Oh, hang on - David Robb - possible time travel - is it FROM TIME TO TIME?

I must confess I have been deliberately misleading you into thinking this is a historical drama, when it's not. The hero of the piece goes undercover as a butler at a stately home in order to investigate a possible crime, so think detectives. That's him with his back to the camera in post #696.

I'm at work at the moment but will post another famous face tonight, which hopefully should give it you, if no-one gets it before then with those clues.

(By the way, all the guesses above are wrong) Sorry.

And because I might have made this a bit too difficult, another clue.... the woman in bed in post #703 is Ingrid Pitt.

HOORAY - yes it is indeed George Kitchener Bulman in the most comedic episode of the series, The Chicken of the Baskervilles. Thank goodness someone got it - I was running out of pictures!

    Over to you Silver Tyne.

Thanks. I'd just got it before you posted Ingrid Pitt [believe it or not!] as IMDBpro had pictures of the aircraft.

Right everyone, back shortly with another poser.
