The guy on the right is definitely Tony Allen - I don't know who the one on the left is. That earlier woman (Number 4) looks at lot like Lois Maxwell - is it her by any chance?

Ah! That means I was wrong. Thanks for that Emps. Correction noted.

Not sure about the girl. I can certainly see a good resemblence between her and Lois Maxwell. But I could'nt swear to it.

I was looking through Casino Royale (1967) and remembered how bad this film was but it is stuffed with extra's. Here's a few of them.
I'm sure the first guy is a famous TV cook or something. I seem to remember him from the the sixties or seventies.

You're probably thinking of Clement Freud for the first man, Movie Dude
(or going even further back, Philip Harben) but could he be John Tate?:

In the Sherlock Holmes episode The Boscombe Valley Mystery (1968)

No. 2 is Maurice Browning. From The Saint - The Gadget Lovers (1967):

Don't know about the next two but the last one looks like a young Guy Rolfe:

The monk in the party hat, I would say!

I think you're right about Clement Freud Cornershop. I have memories of a balding bearded man and dog doing odd things with food. And how did I miss Maurice Browning?. I have the complete Saint series and have him in it but never noticed him in Casino Royale at all. Just goes to show how much notice I'm taking lately.

Definately Tony Allen Gerald. I can't think why I thought it was the other guy!

Not Clement Freud, his bloodhound eyes were his trademark.

It is Maurice Browning, but unfortunately none of the rest are as suggested so far IMO.

The Thirty Nine Steps (1978) was an interesting departure from the original story with plenty of extra's thrown in. The first four all have speaking parts but are uncredited (I think). The other two seem very familiar, at least the man does. I wonder who he is?? And is the lady with him his wife??

Top left, Robert Brown? The hairline looks the same:

From the previous year's The Spy Who Loved Me.

Unfortunately, the eyes are not right for Robert Brown, I'd say.

The girl dressed as a parlourmaid looks like Liz Crowther.

I'm glad you said that Gerald. I spotted him very quickly but couldn't be certain it was him. Lets see if whitstablejim confirms.

I didn't know Leslie Crowther had a daughter Cully, let alone that she is an actress. The resemblence is quite marked but on reflection I think the mouth is too narrow to be her.

    Thanks guys.

Gerald, yes that is me. I was Robert Powels stand-in on this, got a bit extra for being in the crowd, sorry I can't help with the names of others.

I thought that was you Jim.

Dunkirk 1958 has a lot of extras doing bit parts. Here are some of the more obvious ones.

I was watching the Twilight Zone episode The Silence and noticed number 23 as an uncredited club member. On IMDB they list all of the uncredited club members and from a little checking I can name him as Scott Seaton.

Excellent work Stonefan. It's good to get a name for this obscure American actor at last. Thanks.

My pleasure. I would love to see a website dedicated to extras/bit-players with screen-caps and memorable moments. It could include Americans such as Bess Flowers and the more recent Jessie Heiman as well. Quotes from existing extras, Harry Fielder doing the introduction etc etc. Since reading about the likes of Geoge Hilsdon, Pauline Chamberlain and Victor Harrington Ive become a bit obsessed! I think if i wasn't working I would watch British movies all day just on the off chance of seeing Jim Brady or Reg Thomason. I find it fasinating that some of these people clocked in over 1000 appearances. If only one of them had wrote a book about their experiences.

Great work, Stonefan. He's most prominent in the scene where Franchot Tone challenges Liam Sullivan to an unusual bet for $500,000:

['You see, Tennyson, you could not possibly remain silent for a year. It's not in your nature']

#23 is a bit blurred there so you can crop and enlarge this image to add to your collection, MovieDude (and wearysloth):

Behind Liam this time is Cyril Delevanti, who was in three other episodes. I first noticed him in The Killing of Sister George.

Thanks for reminding me of this episode, Stonefan. It would have made a good Tales of the Unexpected with that horrifying twist at the end. This is all I know Liam Sullivan from at the moment. A similarity to Montgomery Clift I think.
