Could be, Dave! They both appeared (uncredited) in the DANGER MAN episode "The Sisters" . . .

They did not play the title roles, however.

It's a real quick glimpse, but I'm certain this is your distinctive unknown lady #10 as a club extra in Stolen Face (1952)

OK I think I'm up and running again after all that. I only had to buy a new computor.

Bad news I'm afraid. I'm going to have to delete the site sometime soon. Reason is, I have realised it is nearly impossible for me to repair it online. As you may have noticed, it isn't working properly and I can only repair it on my own machine. So sooner or later it will dissapear for a while. Hopefully less than a week.

At this point I must give a huge round of applause to The Weary Sloth who has made a herculean effort to help me put it right. But sadly some parts of it are proving to be extremely tricky to get right. And frankly, I think I should clean up my own mess. The TV section in particular is proving to be a real pest. I think I am going to rebuild it from the bottom to be sure of getting it right.

Sorry to hear of your woes, MovieDude, and hope you are able to resolve what is a wonderful source of reference material.

Good luck with sorting out those problems, MovieDude. I literally haven't had a moment to see what you've done so far.

To cheer you up, here's my latest sighting of our Unknown Female #9, among the congregation in Father Brown (1954):

With Sid James. Could the lady sitting next to him be Kathleen Saintsbury, who wearysloth posted this image of earlier?:

Thank you gentlemen. I certainly cannot give up, now that I've got this far. I've learned a lot about web pages thanks to The Sloth and hope now to continue to create a worthwhile reference but it will take some rebuilding I'm afraid.

A good image of Unknown Female #9 Cornershop. It continues to suprise me that such a distinctive lokking actress should remain unknown. I think we will get her name sooner of later. Not sure about the other lady though. She looks a bit too young to my eyes. A good resemblance though.

Hang in there, MovieDude. The learning curve is steep, but you'll reach the plateau eventually!

Is Unknown Female No. 4 worth considering for the woman next to Father
Brown, MovieDude (bearing in mind these images are two decades later)?:

Someone else who caught the eye during normal viewing is the lady behind Alec Guinness and Joan Greenwood:

She also appears to be caught off guard Another one for the collection!

Thanks Dave. I'll keep at it.

I think you may be right Cornershop. That's a very good fit. The nose is a bit odd in the Father Brown pic but the rest of her face is a dead ringer for Unknown Female No 4.

Well! I don't know what I was so worried about. I thought parts of my database would need to be rebuilt which would take many months. I have just finished uploading it for the second time and it seems to be working very nicely, even the TV section.

This part of it would not work properly before, but now it does. Mindboggling!

So, as they say, enjoy and please let me know if it has any broken links.

Good to know all is well, MovieDude. Don't forget to include darling Alison (one of my 'Most Wanted'):

Your No. 45 (bottom right) was seen to good effect in The Sentimental Agent - A Little Sweetness and Light (1963):

So much so that, during normal viewing, I didn't even notice Jack Arrow behind Patrick Allen. The old man is Martin Miller.

As for the others, the guy in the background, wearing a check jacket, reminds me of Harry Landis and the one behind #45 George Melly.

Sorry Cornershop. Alison who? I think I should probably know her but I can't place her.

I've never heard of The Sentimental Agent. I see it's one of those series' that didn't last long. I have put it on my 'to get' list.

I think the Harry Landis lookalike is my new most wanted #3.

It's Alison Hughes, MovieDude, not Who! Though you were close!

I think I should probably know her but I can't place her.
Maybe you remember her from The Wicker Man?:

As Edward Woodward's fiance in an early scene.

I think you could be right, MovieDude.

Now that I've selected this image as well you can see other Extras who were in the scene - including 'Dave's Waiter'!

The Man in the White Suit, standing next to Martin Miller, is the show's star Carlos Thompson (then married to Lilli Palmer).

The seated gentlemen are (I think) Emile Stemmler and the aforementioned George Melly lookalike.

Yep that's Emil/Emile (all the census records say Emil), and it's nice to see Joe the Waiter not playing a waiter!
