    Corrected now, dissolute!:

Gallery of actors in The Avengers - Box of Tricks (1963)

I think you're right in thinking 12 & 14 are the same bloke:

If 13 is a Nurse, she'd be ideal for the hopefully-forthcoming 'Doctors & Nurses' thread.

At long last, I've found a suitable image of Gregory Scott in Please Sir!, to add to
those I posted earlier (from The Human Jungle, left, and The Avengers, centre):

Click here to see the full image:

Gregory Scott, with Erik Chitty, in Please Sir! - Situations Vacant (1970)

It was made in black-and-white because of the ITV colour strike, which also affected the first few episodes of Budgie &
Upstairs Downstairs. Along the way, I thought I recognised one of the extras as Linda Cunningham. I'm sure it was her!

And this should help us believe the Maitre d' is Robert Hartley:

In episodes of Gazette (1968), The Six Wives of Henry VIII (1970) and, we hope, The Avengers (1963), respectively.

Movie Dude, do you think Unnamed Extra #2 in The Saint - The Loaded Tourist (1962),
left, might be David Ritch (shown in episodes of The Four Just Men & Danger Man)?:

Interestingly, David played an Immigration Officer in a later Danger Man - just like the man in The Saint image. Both pre-credits scenes as well.

On first look I thought you were right and it was him but when the ears are compared they look quite different so I'd have to say it's probably two actors.

Working my way through "The Edgar Wallace Mysteries" at the moment, i picked the complete set up in the recent Network sale. Good credited cast lists generally with most speaking parts named although Ray Shokk (Ray the mechanic) and John Wilder (constable twice!) miss out, George Hilsdon gets a rare credit. Candidate for Murder starring Michael Gough, who hires a hitman to knock of his wife, features a party scene in which seven actors receive a credit, about eight are prominent speaking roles ( the unlucky actress who misses out on a credit is Moviedude's Unknown Female 1), i have identified Richard Bidlake, Robin Philips, Pamela Greer, Gabriella Lucidi, Odette Nash and Norma Parnell, the other prominent party guest is Moviedude's Unknown Male no 48, so i am presuming he is the remaining credit "Mike Hall".

    Credited roles for Mike Hall
    1959 - Charlesworth - The Petrovich Medallion
    1959 - Here's To the Next Time
1960 - Garry Halliday - The Man Who Forgot
1960 - Television Playhouse - Missing From Home
1960 - Television Playhouse - The Essay Prize
    30/08/60 - Emergency Ward 10
    1961 - Television Playhouse - A Diabolical Liberty
1962 - Garry Halliday - A Drop in the Ocean
1962 - Garry Halliday - The Extra Passenger
    1963 - The Planemakers - The Cat's Away
1963 - The Planemakers - Anymore for Skylark
    1965 - Dr Finlay's Casebook - Devils Dozens

There was a Mike Hall credited in 70's and 80's TV, i would think this is a different actor.

No I don't. I hoped to have the Emergency Ward 10 credit but that's a "missing" episode.

Moviedude could you put the caps of Unknown 48 on here, just in case any of our regulars recognise him as 'Mike Hall'

This is Michael Hall playing the role of Slicky in an episode of THE MIND OF MR. J. G. REEDER called "The Troupe" (tx: 04.06.1969):

Good work Gerald. Obviously not 'Michael' Hall but still possibly 'Mike'.

Here is Unknown 48 to perhaps jog a memory or two?

I am certain Michael Hall is'nt in the party scene in Candidate for Murder, so it still could be Mike Hall.
I think Michael Hall is (IX) at IMDb.

Yes, no sign of Michael Hall in the party scene. The three males credited are Richard Bidlake , Robin Phillips and Mike Hall and both Richard and Robin are known and get lines. As far as I can see, no others get lines apart from Gerald Paris who is one of the other three males who are all uncredited. This is the only one of those males who is prominent apart from our man:

Make sure you click the links ...

    New Unknown Male subjects?

Hello again, Movie Dude. The Wedding Photographer in the Edgar Wallace film Marriage of Convenience (1960)
    - your Unnamed Extra #3 - is the guy I recently mistook for a young Fred Woods in H.G. Wells' Invisible Man:

With cult favourite Jennifer Daniel (wearing a dark wig), who has arrived at a registry office to 'marry' villain John Cairney.

Looking back at some old captures from Department S - Death on Reflection (1969), I recognised several familiar faces:

The credited actors are Guy Rolfe (tall man at the back), Dennis Alaba Peters (the black man), and Susan Denny (sitting next to him).
The ladies in the front row are Pearl Walters (left) & Mabel Etherington. Inbetween is someone I recognise from the Devil Doll remake.

I know you need more than one image to create an 'Unknown Male' gallery, Movie Dude, so trust these will prove useful.
