Could number 11 on the link below be the sadly now deceased Doreen Sloane who played Annabelle Collins in Brookside? There's a rsemblance and I know she had bit parts in comedies before getting the Brookside role.

Well spotted Handykins. I agree, there is a good likeness but my image is too blurred to be sure it is her. I'll mark her down as a 'possible sighting'.

    Jay McGrath and Anne Preston

Thanks for putting me right wiith Anne Preston, Roger. Not heard of her before. I've added another of Movie Dude's
images of her for comparison, and done the same with 'Unnamed Extra' #20 (left), who I recognise as Jay McGrath:

Jay in Carry On Doctor and The Sandwich Man and Anne in Carry On Doctor and Anne of the Thousand Days.

Unnamed Extras in Carry On Doctor (1967)

So where can I find Jane Murdoch (daughter of Richard)? And buck-toothed character actress Helen Ford? Could be #6 for the latter.

Another good sighting Cornershop. I've now expanded Jay McGrath's page to include all his appearences I have.

Also I think you may be right about Carry On Doctor unknown #6. It certainnly looks like Helen Ford.

The lady on the right is not Anne Preston who sadly passed away only about a month ago (Lovely Lady).

Fred Kelsey, credited as "2nd Bishop" in Nothing Barred (1961).

Excellent work, Dave! He is in tons of things: most recently, I spotted him playing two if not three roles in The Courtneys of Curzon Street.

Not to be confused with the American Fred Kelsey of course, who usually played a baffled plainclothes cigar-chomping cop in derby hat, and seems to have been the inspiration for some cartoon characters too.

Well done Dave, i have him in Double Confession (1950) as man in the store window and Norman Wisdom's Trouble in Store as a cowboy!

And he's also in The Night We Got the Bird, right at the beginning, as an old man (what else?) in a bath-chair.

When I went through B.B.C. TV archive records, I found Kelsey in numerous productions during the fifties. His name also appears on some film call sheets. In all cases I've seen his first name was always written down as FREDERICK.

Frederick it is, then. He was listed as Fred in Nothing Barred. Not to be confused with the US actor, of course!

He resembles Keith Pyott in some images. Other than that, I don't recall ever noticing that extra before.

Unlike the woman on the bus in Alfie (1966). Isn't she Unnamed Extra 28 in Carry On Matron (1972)?:

I haven't got many comparisons right lately but am even more certain that these images are of the same man:

In Very Important Person (1961) & A Shot in the Dark (1964).

Good work Cornershop. I think you are right on both counts. I have the Shot in the Dark image (not as good as yours) so I will add them to the most wanted lists soon.
