Paul and Eden often appeared together. I understand they may have been "an item".

A couple of Platoon Members from 'Dad's Army'. The younger one has appeared in a few earlier episodes. Does anyone know their names?

Re: Eden Fox and Paul Phillips

A bit of a shock to me too. I have a lot of their appearances on DVD. Not too often together, from what I've seen, but nearly always in the same productions (episodes of And Mother Makes Three, Fraud Squad and Public Eye spring to mind).

Interesting that you should ask who those mystery platoon members are, Movie Dude. Only yesterday, I identified Callan extra George Hancock from a YouTube copy of the episode The Godiva Affair. Can't help with your subjects though.

Pleased to see you trusted my judgement with Walter Swash and Winifred Sabine in the The Worst Soldier I Ever Saw. As mentioned, she first came to my attention in Curry and Chips. In this pub scene from the first episode, Jerold Wells warns 'Pakistani' Spike Milligan to "keep your eyes off" white woman Winifred. His reaction is my favourite moment of this (controversial!) sitcom - "You think I'd give it one?":

I'd be happy to see these added to your image collection. What did you make of the Reg Cranfield comparisons I posted at another thread?

The younger one on the right is David Seaforth. I may be able to help you with the other one later; which episode are you working on?

I actually have images from that episode The Godiva Affair. I was looking through my collection earlier for anything that would indicate the names of the platoon members and discovered George Hancock in the folder. I'll probably add him soon.

I can't say that I'm a fan of Milligan. He get's rather annoying after a while, a bit like Norman Wisdom. But I've certainly added your images to collection.

Well Spotted Gerald. I actually do them in rotation. The next one will be episode one of series three. Not for good while though.
But I have lots of images from all the previous episodes.

If the chap on the left is in "Sgt. Wilson's Little Secret", Movie Dude, by a process of elimination, he will be Arthur McGuire (or Macguire).

Excellent Gerald. A new face and a new name to me. Sadly he has a very short filmography. I'll add him now.

Apparently Arthur Maguire (yet another spelling!) was in the navy and appeared as such in things like A Matter of Life and Death and The Baby and the Battleship and later did extra work in THE SAINT and THE PERSUADERS! etc.

Sky News' election coverage is holding me back from my DVD viewing, so I thought I'd scan last night's film Charley Moon to find any extras I'd missed in the music hall scenes (only recognised Jim Brady in real time, as a stagehand). Making slow progress getting there but you should be pleased with this along-the-way image, Movie Dude. I've identified the 'Young soldier' (Foster) as Michael Dear:

Sixteen of the usual suspects in the next episode of Espionage but I cannot remember the name of this one.

Surely not Cornershop?. I don't think it is 'him'. Their noses are quite different. I think he is a known actor but I just can't place him at the moment. He actually has a speaking part as well which makes me wonder why he is uncredited.

The image is from Ghost Squad which I've just uploaded to the site.
