Paul McCartney wrote the theme tune to a film that was made in the 1960`s, does anyone know what it was called. I think it might have been one of the `kitchen sink` dramas that were popular at that time.

'The Family Way' directed by John Boulting.

The only other is the James Bond thriller 'Live and Let Die' and that was just the theme song. Don't think they had a kitchen in that one, either.

Wasn't it Roy Boulting who directed it? About that time there was the "scandal" of him marrying a much younger Hayley Mills.

Their marriage didn't last long. Doomed from the start, 32 years between them. Poor Roy Boulting ended up in a council flat. Hayley and their very successful pop singer son obviously couldn't help him out.... anyway, back to The Family Way. It caused a stir at the time because of Hayley's sweet little girl image, didn't it?

Not really a scandal compared to the way the press and public would jump on them now. At least he was ALLOWED to marry her, these days they'd probably burn his house down and brick his windows...

Why would they do that? Ms Mills was 20 when they met and 25 when they got married. Hardly *that* controversial.

    ...Up?

    First, I mean............

Cornel Lucas married the 19-year-old Belinda Lee and the only scandal was when she had a torrid Italian affair in 1958, and he divorced her. She never worked in the UK again. (Cornel was only 34 when they married)
