I have dim and distant memories of a children's TV series from the 1960s, maybe on the then-new BBC2, possibly a puppet series, that featured a character called Snoo (or however it was spelled) and there was a catchphrase "Snoo's had his hair cut". But Google doesn't find anything.

Does this ring any bells or is it a figment of my childhood imagination?
