Thanks for pointing that out Philly. I think Mikey may be confused because as unknown actors get named they are removed from the list. It has been my habit to rearange the remainding extras to take up the empty spaces. Plus from time to time another face will emerge as a regular unknown and be added to the list. The best solution is to ignore all of the previous pages on my thread and instead just look at the extras on my website which are always up to date. Well, usually.

I finally bought the DVD (or a DVD) of Casino Royale a few days ago from Amazon, for 4.44, and watched it last night. The last time was back in the 1980s I think. Judging by our screencaps, the copy I have isn't as good as Mikey's (which I assume is the Blu-Ray version). It's not that important to me although I enjoyed the film more than I expected.

A lot of the extras we've discussed here passed me by - and so did better known ones like John Tatum and Juba Kennerley. That was during normal viewing, however, and they were all at a distance. Who would have noticed Lewis Alexander on the bus? The Actors Compendium and MovieDude's three page gallery helped me to catch up with those I'd missed. In real time, the Baker Twins dominate the first casino scene but when I got round to screencapping was pleased to see Gina Warwick so clearly visible. Once again, ITC regulars were wasted on the big screen - Burt Kwouk, Arnold Diamond (who I didn't even see), John Hollis ...

70 and 93, as they are at the moment, are last and first here, philly. I agree that's Peter Brace on the right. The
two in the middle might be Unknown Male #17 and a lady I've mentioned a few times, as seen in Ace of Wands:

MovieDude, all these Unnamed Extras have been identified here and you've miscredited the 2nd as Yvonne Marsh:

1 - Anita West 2 - Anne de Vigier (distinctive hairline); 3 - My 'dolly bird' subject Jean Combie; 4 - Heather Lowe.

Finally, a return to the Natalie Sawyer lookalike identified by Aged AD as Dee Hart:

I thought she looked familiar ... This is the mystery brunette I asked about last year (at 'Anyone recognise this actor?'):

My God, it's really her! With Tracey Crisp in The Sandwich Man, filmed a few months earlier. Behind her is Michael Bentine.

Tracey is also in Casino Royale. Other stars to appear in both: Anna Quayle, Ian Wilson, Burt Kwouk, Bernard Cribbins and John Le Mesurier,

I don't have the film on Blu-Ray, I use the region 1 DVD which is a larger picture than the region 2, which incidently I also have.

No one ever did come up with a visual of Vicky Hodge in the movie. However, as she attended the premiere I assume she must there somewhere. Anyone any suggestions as to where?

Certainly did Mikey. Thanks. Now it's just a simple task to name all the other unknowns.

Does anyone have an image of sixties Doctor Who extra Barry Noble?

I have been informed that he was yet another uncredited performer in Casino Royale.

Maybe it's not a great help, Mikey, but this was Barry Noble last October:

    Thanks Gerald

Like you say we could do with something from the mid-sixties in order to identify him in the film.

    Exactly like that Gerald.

Now can anyone spot him in the film?

I think we're looking at the casino footage.

According to that article Louisa became 21 on 16/5/1969. For once I think a newspaper actually gets an actor's age right! This is Louisa's birth record for the summer of 1948 (albeit they get her first name slightly wrong):

Another source for Louisa being in CR is an interview she gave in a press book for TV series UFO:

    "LOUISA RABAIOTTI - MODEL BEAUTY

Glamour is the keynote for a 5'8", 119-pound, excitingly attractive blonde with blue eyes named Louisa Rabaiotti, who is a model as well as being an actress, loves clothes and is seen time and time again in fabulous outfits - plus a lot of bikini posing for travel brochures.

And she looks more glamorous than ever in an outfit which covers her from top to toe for her occasional appearances in the "U.F.O." series. It's a close-fitting cat suit.

Louisa is English by birth and comes from Sidcup, Kent; but, as her name suggests, she is of Italian blood. Her father, who owns a chain of hotels and restaurants in and around London, is an Italian from Parma; but her mother is Irish.

Louisa was one of the girls whose sex-appeal caused such attention in the early "This is Tom Jones....." TV programmes that they were dropped from the series - Tom's fans didn't want to see other girls monopolising him! And she's been in such movies as "Casino Royale" and "Decline and Fall" as well as many other TV shows.

Louisa went to finishing school in Florence for a year before starting on her modelling career and that, in turn, has taken her to a lot of countries including visits to Cyprus, Beirut and the Channel Islands.

With a father who owns so many restaurants, Louisa has no problems of where to eat. "But," she says, "I'm not greedy - and I have to think of my figure!"

    E.
Louisa Rabaiotti in the pilot episode of Jokers Wild. According to the dvd sleeve filmed in April 1969 but never screened on TV.

    Phil

If you read through the thread you'll see that Louisa Rabiotti was identified some time ago as one of the Guard Girls.

I've recently been speaking to Suzanne Heimer (now Peterson) who was an extra on Space:1999, and she mentioned appearing in Casino Royale as a 'special' (film industry term for a featured extra). I hope to be seeing her this weekend and will ask if she remembers anything about her work on CR.

Re: Susanna Hunt (Ronnie 'Plonk' Lane's wife), is she Angela Down's uncredited friend in The Looking Glass War (1969)?:

Unlikely as it may seem from this image, Angela (as Avril in Take Three Girls) was the Girl of My Dreams when I was 17.

    Dream Connection

At precisely that moment, she learns Christopher Jones is "Aquarius", a No.1 hit that year for my beloved Fifth Dimension.

Also wondering if Mrs. Plonk is the sister of Caroline Hunt?:

Casino Royale and Fahrenheit 451 (both uncredited)

    Thanks, Movie Dude.

    Greta van Rantwyck

I found this rare picrure of Greta on the front page of the 5th June 1966 Sydney
    Morning Herald
, where there are reviews of A Patch of Blue & Life at the Top:

Unfortunately, she was in a "serious condition" following a drug overdose.

The chance discovery prompted me to scan the DVD yet again, helped by Mikey's descriptions of her three roles:

"Girl with Fishing Rod" (actually used as a radio to report David Niven's arrival in Scotland).

"Beauty Contestant" (superimposed with psychedelic imagery of reluctant judge Peter Sellers).

"Gold Painted Girl" (on the left). Is the artist Peter Ashmore, who has another role as a barman?

That scene recalls the time Pan's People were painted gold for the sadly lost The Good, The Bad and the Ugly routine:

Babs with unknown make-up artist, December 1968.

Mikey, I think Helen Goss might be one of the two middle-aged women who appear in that nightmarish beauty contest scene, next to Heather Lowe.
