Yes, Cinema Retro have this image captioned as Tracy Reed, but look at the image of Gina Warwick. I think they have captioned this wrong.

I have documentary evidence that Jacky Bisset as she was credited then was on the casino set and her character name was Giovana, and as her hairstyle is totally different to her credited role of Miss Goodthighs, I think we have to assume that this was a different character. A great day’s research there, tarapeel.

Looking again at this image... Could the second from the left be Yvonne Horner.

Now I've resized the image, it should be easier to do an ID. Yes its Yvonne Horner.

Okay then from left to right: Vanessa Sutton, Yvonne Horner, Caroline Munro, Louisa Rabaiotti, unknown, Jane Forster, girl in front also unknown.

Again I think you nailed it with Jacky/Jacqueline Bisset. Comparing images from Casino Royale and The Grasshopper from three years later when she had a similar hairstyle.

I wouldn't swear it was Gina (although, I agree it is like her), it's certainly not Tracey Reed, IMHO.

I have to say the hairline clinches it for me.

I've seen that photo on another website and there it was said there to be Gina.

This scene in the gym - the girl on our left in the blue dress - she goes to walk forward just before Daliah does:

    [/IMG]

Well, I believe that's model Stella Grove - not Groove or Grow (see below). I found this out from an Italian newspaper - Il Giorno - it had a feature on some CR girls and their names are listed to correspond with the pictures starting on our top left:

You can see the first girl is wearing a blue dress with yellow markings, and it looks just like the one the girl in my first picture has on.

Yes, it's one of the archives I use, but have you come across actress or model Julie Bevan being in CR? This is from the Daily Mirror, 7/7/66:

In the lower picture Paco Rabanne is with women wearing visors - could Julie have been one of the girls guarding Daliah when she's strapped to the gurney?

A piece of detective work worthy of Sherlock Holmes… Its Stella Grove not Groove, as my information from the Italian publication Playmen reported. Il Giorno does seem to be another extraordinary find.

There did seem to have been a little translation problem from English to Italian with some names, such as Jane Rowland, as opposed to Jeanne Roland.

Looking at your spread, it lists Jenny White, who I think I have found as one of the control assistants (mentioned earlier in the thread), but here she is with short hair. The tracking of extras in Casino Royale becomes even more mysterious.

Okay another detailed piece of research and no, I had never heard of Julie Bevan being involved with the film.

I’ve had a look on line, but a good image has eluded me. There is the 1966 historic images black and white image, but she’s some distance away from the camera and the copyright watermark also obscures her faces.

Anybody out there got an image of Julie?

Mikey, the reference to Stella Groove comes from the Afro-American film "Stella Got her Groove on"

Well done with identifying Stella Grove...that's another one.
Mikey, yes that looks like Yvonne Horner as well.

Two of the girls on the Italian magazine cover are in the beauty contest in the dream sequence during the torture scene. Greta Von Rabtwyck and Jenni White. They are also in that photo with Terence Cooper in cinema retro and showtime. So I think we can say that the other 4 girls are in the beauty contest.
Mikey. maybe Jenni White had two parts as well?

Elaine Taylor on the mag cover looks like the girl to the right of Niven. Btw She's very similar to Gabriella Licudi. cr10.JPG

Going through the girl guards picture I think one of the two brunettes to the left here could be Julie Bevan?

    cr15.jpg

They look very similar but I think the bottom one looks more like her and she has a fringe as in the newspaper clipping.

Mikey, you mentioned that Fiona Lewis and Alexandra Bastedo were on set in the casino scene. I may have found them. I have used your screen grabs here. They aren't the best shots of them but my bluray copy does not work in my pc, otherwise I would get better ones. Maybe someone can have a go?
Alexandra may be the one in the middle at the back.

    cr20.JPG

Fiona in the second, she could be wearing a darker wig and her hair is up. I have only seen photos of her with her hair down before but she has the same light colour eyes. As I say there are some better shots than these in the film.

Great Van Rentwyck played three roles in the film. As you say she's there as one of the beauty contestents and she's also the girl with the fishing rod/radio who reports that Sir James has entered Scotland. Further to this she's also one of the women painted in gold, seen during the mass fight at the conclusion and this was confirmed in the edition of Playboy issued in 1967 to co-inside with the launch of the film. Photographs clearly show her face and distictive hair and credit her as such.

Also as you say it appears that Jenny White had more than one role in the film and the girl in the white swinsuit with black hair appears to be Heather Lowe, who appeared earlier in the film as one of the control assistants who were directing the automated milk float bomb after Niven's vintage Bentley.

This is the cover you mean?

I think I'm right in saying that Showtime was a British magazine.

I’d go along with your choice for Julie Bevan out of the Guard Girls, the one kneeling down looks the most obvious choice.

As for Alexandra Bastedo, just look what I found on the net not two hours ago, there she is talking to Orson Welles.

Taking nothing away from your excellent observation, which cannot have been easy, but at least she’s been visually verified as being on the casino set.

I must have a look for an image of Fiona Lewis with her hair up, so I’ll come back to you on this one.

Unfortunately the only image of Fiona Lewis I can locate where she has her hair up is the one I posted previously and I’m not sure if they show one and the same. What do others think?
