Can anyone share any comments on the four volumes of Will Hay films from VCI on region 1? I purchased Volume 1 with "Boys will be boys" and "Where there's a Will", and found the quality of the image and sound on both films to be excellent, considerably better than the versions issued in the UK by Carlton and then ITV. It does appear that some restoration has been carried out by someone prior to the VCI release.

I'm particularly interested in the quality of VCI's Volume 4, that features "Ask a policeman", "Hey Hey USA" and "Old Bones of the River", since the standard of the UK dvd's of these titles is particularly poor. Is it worth getting the VCI issue?

Thanks,
MrT
