    My parents on holiday encountered an actor in the hotel dining room. My late father, typically, and no doubt dramatically, went over to him and said "Tom Watson, isn't it?" It turned out to be Moray Watson, who however graciously said Tom was a great friend of his.

    One of my former work colleagues, though, did know Tom from childhood days and meeting him decades later got a wonderful and emotional response from Tom when he suddenly realised who my colleague was.

    Yes, it's a shame I wasn't around in those days, Picture Show Magazine, finished a long time, before I was born.
