Does anyone know if any British studio was used for filming of 'A Matter Of Innocence'/'Pretty Polly" in January 1967 prior to the location filming in Singapore (February 1967).

I'm being vague with this as I don't want to ask a leading question.

It would be useful if anyone who knows the film has spotted any studio backlot sequences in the movie.

Forget this. I was trying to identify where and why this photo was taken.

But I've just found this was not ''January 1967" at MGM-British as I expected, but Shepperton dressed for "Dalek Invasion Earth" June 1966 (during the filming of 'The Family Way").

Amazing work Tony - all your backlot set research has proved invaluable in identifying the location of this photo-shoot.

...But it obviously raises more questions ! What was the Moke doing at Shepperton...? Was it actually Hayley Mills' car...? Was it also produced by Wood and Picket...? :)

The Moke in the picture could be HLT 709C (C plate 1965) which has been screen saved from an episode of The Prisoner. There is a pretty hot debate going on the "Mini Moke Forum" about it. Don't ask me how I know as my brain still hurts when I think about it.

    This gets even more complicated.

Wood and Pickett modified the Mokes that appeared in 'The Prisoner'.

Hayley Mills is reported to have been the first person to order a modified Mini from Wood and Pickett and done promotional work for them.

Wood and Pickett produced a modified candy-striped Moke for a car show (probably the one seen in Paris 1966 - see Pathe clip on YouTube).

This begs lots of questions about why this Moke, that we know appeared in 'The Prisoner' was at Shepperton at the same time McGoohan was there preparing for the series. Anyone got contact details for Hayley Mills?
