children's tv drama series c. 77/78 where the children exchange a white stone

I'm trying to find the name of a children's television drama series shown in the summer of 1977 or 1978 where two children (a boy and a girl) have 'adventures' based upon daring each other to do mildly daring deeds. One of the key points is that they have a white stone/pebble that they exchange with each other - either when one of them has completed the 'dare', or when they have been 'dared'. Thanks.
