Whilst as work the other evening,I had a quick browse through my Halliwell's Film Guide (it was a quiet night) and I came across a film made in the early forties. It was British, and its title was something like "A Home Of Their Own" and it was about a couple getting a new home, however it was haunted. I thought I would investigate the film a bit further when I got home. However,I have must have misread the title and I can't find it anywhere. I believe there is an American star in it (I could be wrong on that).
    Any ideas?
    Cheers

Could it have been A Place of One's Own, with James Mason and Margaret Lockwood?

Barbara Mullen was in it,so hence "the American star."
