More Warwicks would be great. Safari (1956) is on BBC2 again next weekend.

Hell Below Zero is a thoroughly revolting film with it's explicit scenes of the slaughter and slicing open of whales. I'm not in any way one of those animal rights zealots, but I could never sit through this film again. As for Safari, I suppose there is no hope of it being shown in it's correct ratio rather than the 16x9 version of it's last TV outing.

Interesting to compile a list of Warwick films (all filmed in UK studios, and released by Columbia worldwide) that have not been on UK tv for many years, such as....

In the Nick (1960) ... Production Company
The Trials of Oscar Wilde (1960) ... Production Company
Jazz Boat (1960) ... Production Company
Killers of Kilimanjaro (1959) ... Production Company
The Bandit of Zhobe (1959) ... Production Company
Idol on Parade (1959) ... Production Company
The Man Inside (1958) ... Production Company
No Time to Die (1958) ... Production Company
High Flight (1957) ... Production Company
How to Murder a Rich Uncle (1957) ... Production Company
    Interpol (1957) ... Production Company
    Zarak (1956) ... Production Company
    Odongo (1956) ... Production Company
The Gamma People (1956) ... Production Company
A Prize of Gold (1955) ... Production Company

We need them all!!!! Anthony Newley seemed to be in most of them.

I think all of these listed titles are in CinemaScope (2.35:1 ) ratio, so ideal for widescreen tv....The Trials of Oscar Wilde (1960) is in Technirama

There were other Warwick productions (Johnny Nobody, Let's Get Married, The Hellions etc) but they were released by the distributor Eros. I think Eros also released The Trials of Oscar Wilde (1960)

So if Film 4 acquired a package from Sony/Columbia, these titles would not be included.

Neat little actioner. Above average for its time IMHO. Stanley Baker is standout as the villain.
