The movie has a scene of four black men driving in a small car along a dirt road in the jungle. They come to a river and drive straight across since the car is amphibious, with a spinning prop at the stern.

It was a spy-fi made in the mid-60s; no later than 69. The jungle scene was perhaps set in Brazil or Jamaica. I thought it was an early Bond movie but after checking through IMCDB it doesn't look like it.. The car is a possibly an Amphicar or a VW 166. Either way it was quite small, and not an army duk nor Ford GPA.

Found it. 'Kiss The Girls and Make Them Die', 1966, de Laurentiis films. Staring Mike Connors, Terry Thomas, Dorothy Provine.

The car is a VW 166 Schwimmwagon. The movie is a Bond spoof filmed entirely in Brazil. It' better than one or two of the actual Bond movies, which are fairly spoofey to start with.
