Hi, coming home from a holiday in Germany yesterday, the person two seats down from me was playing a film on his tablet, didn't see it all, just a few scenes, looked a modern film, I've no idea what it was, but I think I'd like to see it properly, so I'll describe a few scenes.

A Viking Warrior looking chap burst through the wall of Charing Cross tube station (the disused platforms), onto the platform and jumped onto a train, he had shoulder length fair hair, looked a little like Brad Pitt.

A building that looked like the Royal Naval College at Greenwich was in it, though some of it's columns looked shattered and broken, there was a strange looking monolith that almost reached to the sky, split in two at the top.

A scene with an elderly father type type figure with long white beard and long white hair, in a scene in a very dark room, could have been in a Castle.

Any ideas what this film is please ?

Could be Thor, the Dark World (2013) which features Charing Cross tube and stars Chris Hemsworth, who could be said to look a bit like Brad Pitt if you are squinting at a tablet from two seats away and have consumed a few bevvies

Lol, that's exactly how it was !

I had consumed a couple of bevvies pre-flight, I was squinting at his tablet, yes, it was Chris, not too familiar with him, hence unsure who the blondie was, but I've seen his James Hunt film.

It was, thank you for the replies, I guess it was aimed at the children's market, but I'll read up about it on IMDB, and may purchase the DVD...
