This probably won't help much, but HarperCollins released it in 1985. Out of print now, alas, but you may get a copy on ebay or Amazon also sell second hand copies. The BFI may well be able to help as well.
I wish you every success.
Does anyone know where I can get a screenplay for Kind Hearts. I am adapting it for the stage for The Milton Keynes Theatre Of Comedy. I can not track down a source for this, and may have to write it out while watching the film. Really would like to save the time much as I love the film!

Try abebooks.co.uk - excellent site with which second-hand booksellers register their stock. I have found many out-of-print books on there.
Thanks very much. I shall certainly try those options and let you know how I get on.
While I do not have a copy of the KIND HEARTS screenplay, I do have an audio-cassette of the BBC adaptation for radio which was broadcast about 15 years ago and was a 'tour de force' from Robert Powell who not only played the entire D'Ascoyne family (as did Alec Guinness in the film), but also the hero, Louis Mazzini.
I will do you a copy if you think it would be helpful.
Best of luck in your endeavours, I am sure Milton Keynes needs all the comedy it can get.
