I'd be very interested in hearing from the group re Dennis Potter's work in general, and The Singing Detective in particular.



Many believe Potter was the greatest screenwriter who ever lived. That may be a bit over-the-top, but not by much. TSD remains my favorite "movie," having "set the bar" at 7' 3" in my opinion. Few movies can scale that height.
