I've noticed that 'The Ghost Train' seems to be a popular film for viewers to this site but does anybody have any television appearances by 'Big Hearted Arthur'. I would really be interested in absolutely any appearances (game-shows/interviews etc.) but especially his 'This Is Your Life' special from Xmas 1974.
Sorry, can't help with the TV, but BBC7 has broadcast reruns of a radio show called 'Does the Team Think?' on which Askey was a regular panel member.
Don't think it's scheduled at the moment but it'll probably come round again.
Many classic BBC radio shows are avalable as MP3's on file sharing networks, but downloading them is probably a very naughty thing to do scold and I certainly woudn't recommend you look for them like that. wink
I have a couple of appearances he did on JOKERS WILD in the early 70s...

My dad has Arthur on the Old Boy Network doc which is about 40 minutes long. My friend also used to live next door to Arthur.
