I believe as good as The 39 Steps, and has all Hitchcock ingredients. Superb casting of Derrick DeMarney and Nova Pilbeam and rest of cast also excellent. Needs much more recognition!

I agree GSMCTM, one of my favourite British Hitchcock films. Isn't that the one with the famous tracking shot to the musician with a twitch? The two leads are well cast, as you say. Especially Nova Pilbeam - yum!

Rob: Yes, the marvellous tracking shot as it moves in on the drummer's twitch - so effective. Always enjoy watching this one!!

I also love this film, and am suprised it doesn't get more credit. The Lady Vanishes is also great fun, but fizzles a bit in ther end.

One of my favourites also. I particularly like J H Robert's prissy character as Derrick De Marney's solicitor - even De Marney struggles to surpress a smile. And dear old Edward Rigby trying to dance! If he were alive today they probably invite him on 'Strictly' and team him up with Ann Widdecombe.
