Yes, sorry of course Terry Jones was Brians Mother.

this is one of my favourite monty python movies!

it was very very funny and well crafted the guys that made the movie should deserve a pat on the back for their excellence of movie making at the time this masterpiece was released.

I saw the film again recently, and hardly laughed at all. Monty Python was, at its best, brilliant TV. (Although much of it hasn't aged too well). The films, in my opinion, weren't anywhere near as good : the best of the 4, I think, was Holy Grail. I may be in the minority, but I'm of the opinion that every time something small screen transfers to big screen something is lost.

    Much quoted in our house:

"He's not the Messiah, he's a Very Naughty Boy." Love it.

I just watched it the other night (laughing all the way, obviously) and Brian starts reeling off insults which were being thrown at Jews. He says something like:

    "I'm a heebie, a kyke, a hook-nose"

What's a "heebie" (excuse the spelling) - I've never heard of that one.

I like the "Red Sea Pedestrian" one.

Marvellous film and it deserves its own 24 hour TV so you can just tune in anytime to see Python at their finest.

Monty Python's Flying Circus is being repeated ad infinitum on BBC America.

Should go some way to make up for having to live among Americans.

A terrific comedy which I first watched a couple of years ago. For me, the finale "Always Look On the Bright Side of Life" remains the film's biggest highlight. Monty Python are certainly some of the very finest comedians Britain has to offer and this film goes a long way in proving the verification of that.
