There are so many great moments in 'Genevieve' but this scene is one of my favourites - when Alan McKim realises there is more to life than racing! Quite a touching moment with 'The Old Gentleman' Arthur Wontner.

I love that scene, Joyce Grenfell looks so shocked and sounds so hurt then Edie Martin delivers the classic line "Are they Americans" her voice implies "There simply can't be any other explanation"

This film screams cosy, wet Sunday afternoon!

Perfect comfort viewing and endlessly rewatchable.
