After any that aren't on DVD/VHS, saying this if you could provide links to anything that is available that would be great!

    Films of Fact

    Paul Rotha Productions

    Two Cities Films

    Spectator Films

    Crown Film Unit

+ anything else you may think I'd be intrested in.

...er "Compton" film unit? Any relation to me?

I know you said, not on DVD/VHS but I can't fail to mention the great work done by Panamint www.panamint.co.uk - if you haven't seen their catalogue and this genre interests you, you're in for a treat!

When it comes to definitely NOT on DVD/VHS, I would also be really interested in any material out there. We did have a thread on this ages ago, and I remember mentioning the "Britain at War" film season on C4 years ago, introduced by Leslie Halliwell (now sadly dead, of course). It included some wartime Food Flashes and Ministry of Information films that were fascinating (for example Miss Grant Goes to the Door - and confronts an enemy parachute soldier)
