Does anyone have copies of the 1973/4 comedy series Billy liar starring Jeff Rawle. There were 26 episodes made and I am willing to buy/trade for as many copies as possible?

Please PM me if you can help

I'd also be interested if anyone has any of these. As always, willing to trade or cover costs.

There must be few stories that have had as much shelf-life as "Billy Liar": book, film, tv series and musical to name a few. Keith Waterhouse's pension fund! (I was astounded when I heard Julie Christie admit she was turned down for her part in the film; she only got it eventually because their first choice dropped out)

I saw some of the original film with Tom Courtney being shot in Bradford, and thought I might have been in one crowd shot, but couldn`t find myself when the film came out! I too would be interested in TV series if it can be found.

Yes - I remebered the series but had forgetten that Peter Skellern had sung the theme. Can't abide his singing, but it is good to see the series again, and interesting to recall just how long Jeff Rawle has been about.
