I stumbled upon a brief but lovely sound clip from the old 1938 film "Over She Goes" and thought I'd share it with those of you who appreciate that era and that sound. Roger, are you reading this?

Are there other sound clips out there from British films you've enjoyed and care to share with us?

    Over She Goes

This 1938 film is a favourite Stanley Lupino comedy. But in the midst of all the clowning comes a lovely romantic song as two lovers start at the foot of a windmill, and gradually climb its winding stairway, pausing at windows to draw romantic hearts as you can see in the picture.

The song is titled I Breathe on Windows. The singers are Claire Luce and Max Baer.

Sorry- only just seen this. The singer is John Wood, not Max Baer!
