I am encountering problems in identifying cast details for certain television programmes and came across this book mentioned at the BBC website as being the sort of book I'm after.

However, my question is this. Does this book simply give the MAIN cast details of all comedy programmes going back to the dawn of time (well, it says 1936) or full details of all guests in every episode? If anybody has the book, can they check for me? Or better still, can anybody answer these 2 queries?

    1. In which episode of Mog does Jennifer Guy play the part of Gloria?

2.In which episode of Room at the Bottom ( 1986 version) does Jennifer Guy play the part of Sharon?

    Thanks.

If you find out, please tell the IMDb. They don't have either of those listed at the moment.

I know, Steve, that's why I'm asking and where I intend to update her details. The more I look the more I notice an awful lot of stuff is missing at IMDB. I've recently done a lot of work bringing a hopelessly muddled 20 years of Taggart up to date. Have you noticed the Two Ronnies episode situation? It's a disgrace. I've got together most of the salient airing dates/episode numbers on the 96 odd episodes but...can't get the energy up for what will be a major exercise and take ages to get through!

Thanks for that info, John, it looks a good book but just to avoid misunderstandings...I can see they have all episode/airing date info but do they also give the FULL casts of each episode?

Do it in small doses. It's much easier that way.

I guess this is going to be difficult to resolve. I have other queries but they are of a similar nature.. one off appearances of actors in episodes. Finding the main cast in a programme week in week out seems to be no problem from lots of sources on the net but not the guest spots..
