As I recall this is a very hard to find Hammer production. Would love a copy of this one myself, as would a lot of other forum members, I imagine. Hope you're successful.

Same here. I have obtained this one from three differnet sources and all have been almost unwatchable! Would love a decent copy.

I think a lot of members on this site have a DVD copy of Hammers 1959 "YESTERDAYS ENEMY" and we all got them from the same place. Which is why they are all ropey. To be fare I have brought 8 Hammer DVD's from the same supplier most are OK, in a nice box with lots of info on and not a bad price. But "YESTERDAYS ENEMY" is poor and only just watchable.

A generous 4 out of 10. It looks like someone filmed it off a TV broadcast about 1962.

The print on the Sony release, which comes with a 24-page booklet, is impeccable. A pity I wasn't so keen on the film.

Can anyone help me identify one of the actors here. I recognise everyone apart from the man next to Donald Churchill:

Left to right: A bearded Guy Rolfe, Richard Pasco, Leo McKern, Bryan Forbes, unidentified, and Donald Churchill

I thought he might be David Oxley but the Actors Compendium image of him (below) doesn't match the one above.

He reminds me of David Cole there (I've also said that of Catherine Feller!). I've ruled out most of the uncredited actors.
