I loved Murphy's Mob! Had the books too...i remeber it being set at Watford FC and the main actor being quite formidable..cant recall his name of the top of my head but he was great. supporting cast was good 2...the guy that went on to plat Stig of the Dump...and some other faces i liked too.

i enjoye dthe other series you mentioned also. had matthew kelly in and that little cockney boy that also appeared in Minder. i lkied the miserbale chef guy too...

Fond memories of murphys mob,i was after the opening punk soundtrack for years until i found out it was written for the show and was never released as a single.

Everywhere you go, everything you see

    Someone's saying no, it's a tragedy

Find another place, 'cos you can't play 'ere

Don't want any lip, so there!

Y'know it's gonna be alright if we stick

    together

We're gonna have a fine, fine time if we

    stick together

    No more mindless empty days...

Murphy .... where are you now that we need you?

Whatever happened to the great Ken Hutchison, last seen (by me anyway) in The Bill about eight or nine years ago.

Did anyone record the classic children's drama series, Murphy's Mob? If anyone did, I have lots to exchange.
