Murder Mystery revolving around cricket

Hi, I have a vague memory way back in the late 70's early 80's of a short lived series, murder mystery type thing, which revolved around a couple of old guys who were cricket fanatics. I can picture the two guys now but have no idea of their names or the name of the series - although I'm pretty sure the characters had some connection to the Charters and Caldicott characters played in some of the Ealing comedy films by Naunton Wayne and Basil Radford? Can anyone help me figure this one out, and once figured out if anyone has copies to trade?

I think the series you are after was just called Charters and Caldicott. (Details at BBC - Comedy Guide - Charters And Caldicott)

Don;t have a copy though.
