Dust Devil (1992)? Just a thought...
Hi guys, I have seen one film some time ago, well, only some part of it...and here is what I remember!
There was a guy, who had a house somewhere in the countryside, I cant recall the accent he spoke with, however, it was truly British English, no Yorskhire, Scottish, Irish dialect...and at the beginning he tried to have sex with his gorgeous wife in the kitchen when she was doing the dishes and I think then something interrupted them, be it child or something. Le left...I suppose to Africa, since the final scene had taken place at the dessert, as they were driving [I dont remember, but I guess 3 males and one female, or 2 males? The woman had dark hair...and they talked and argued slightly, and the driver didnt pay attention and they run over a body!]
It was some tribal African, at least he seemed to be...he was clothed in blue habit-like garment...they got off the car, reckon it was a Land Rover [creamish] and they run and tried to save him, but he was dead and then came the other people from the 'tribe', clothed in the same fashion and they didnt speak any english at all, they didnt speak at all altogether...so they treid to expalin that it was an accident and they are going to get some help...but then they thought they might leave some of them with them to prove that they are not running away...so the woman decided, even though the guys didnt want her to, to stay and wait for them to come back with some help. As they started the engine and swerved away one of the tribal guys took the knife and stabbed her...
What I remember about this film is also the fact, that at the airport one woman was getting off the plane and one was waiting for somebody there already and they met, their eyes and that and...it lasted for 10-15 seconds, and they kept staring at each other...and the silence was broken as one guy dropped a bottle of wine on the floor and one of these two started to help him to wipe the floor!
Btw, if any of you out there has got My Borther Tom, I would love to have it..since it has not been released yet, but I suppose it was the film I have ever seen, along with Naked.
Take care and thanks for helping me out!
Peter

thanks, but dust devil is not the film! it is not one of those commercial films that you are likely to see in cinema in front of the mass audiences. thanks again, pal
