Hi there,
I have series 1 to 6 of treasure hunt send PM and we can maybe sort something out,
Best wishes,
The Doc.
Bit of a long shot this, but I'll try anyway.
Has anyone got any episodes of Treasure Hunt shown on Channel 4 during the 80s? I'd love to see some of these again. It was a bit of a favourite in our house at the time. Great theme music too! I know there is a compilation video of about an hour that was released a few years back but I'm really looking for complete shows. I have plenty to trade with if anyone has any.
Thanks.

I have the compilation video to which you refer if you ever decide you need that.

I was looking at some old episodes last night. It will be remembered that on the original series there were three presenters - Anne Meo. Annette Lynton and Wincey Willis. Now the latter I know died last year as a result of an accident but what ever happened to the other two? Annette Lynton always seemed to be dressed in some sort of naval attire - could never understand why?
Wincy Willis is dead oh dear I didnt know

If she is, she's kept it secret

She's not dead, just living in Coventry...
Is that classed as an accident?

Does anyone live in Coventry as a deliberate act?name='Nick Dando']Is that classed as an accident?

Have some friends who lives in Coventry, lovely, friendly place. In their local park each tree has a plaque at its base with the name of someone who fought in WW2 and never returned home.

What a touching tribute to the fallen of the war.....nice that they are remembered like this.

Well somebody has not got it right! If you go into Google and look up"the worldaccording to.com" site it is reported there that she died in July lasy year having choked on a chocolate eclair which got lodged in her windpipe!! There is even a photo of her there.
Alternatively key in her name and it will be the first entry on Google.
It seems strange for someone to make this report if it is not correct?

The thing to do is to learn the lesson and learn which sites are the most trustworthy and which require proof like the IMDb which now requires a printed obit or a death certificate before they'll list someone as having died
And even if you read it in a generally trustworthy forum like this, always ask where the person got their information from if they don't include it in their message.

Edit: I wasn't aware of theworldaccordingto.com but I see that it's a "celebrity gossip" forum and that anyone can post anything there without a citation.
Always ask where they got their information before believing people and repeating what they say

Nice to know she is still around.
You cannot trust anyone these days. I can never understand how anyone can get any satisfaction from puting in garbage such as this a site.
Thanks for the information about her to the various contributors.
