Did somebody record the recent digital broadcast to DVD? I'm looking to replace my old Ch4 VHS version.

    Lots to trade.

    Hi there,

I have a 'straight-to-Dvd-r' recording of this film. Send me a PM and we can take it from there.

    Regards,

    Remy

Marc, is the old VHS version of which you speak the one I lent you which is actually on DVDR?

If not- then take a look in your desk, it'll be there....

-Our Mother's House- is a rare film with very good young players, with a fantastic feeling too, and Dirk Bogarde as cockney is great

I agree, especially the bit filmed in Crystal Palace Park on the breeding lake, just by the island with the dinosaurs. I used to live just down the road from there in the early 70's and spent many a happy day on that island with my brother and some mates, climbing inside of those hollow statues, catching frogs and newts, getting soaked and falling in, tip toeing acrosss the overflow weir..

When I saw them rowing across that lake in the film recently, I almost cried, it was like seeing a long lost film of my childhood....exactly how I remember it.

After reading the D.Shimon's comment on the home page, I still wonder: is it edited on DVD support (zone 2) now
