I am sure i am going to be screamed at for this...

But after a lousy day at work, watching one of the carry on movies is enough to relax and make me laugh and the funniest for me was carry on camping.

It is my favorite because it is such an evident movie spoof that every time i start to watch it, i have a silly grin on my face...

Who can forget Kenneth Williams saying Chests Out Girls and Barbara Windsors bra flying off courtesy of a prop man and a fishing rod.

It's an absolute classic - as is Peter B's overall portrayal of the avaricious Mr. Fiddler.

I'm sure OldmanTV you won't get shouted down for your appreciation - there are many of us here feel the same way about the Carry Ons. SCREAMING is my particular fave, that spot on pastiche of Hammer Horror; and such a great performance from Harry H as Bung !

    He's just gone for a "P"...

Filmed in November (I think) and the grass and leaves were sprayed green to make it more summer-like

Despite everyone remembering it for Babs' brief topless appearence, I think it's one of the most inventive of the Carry Ons. The spoof nudist movie is a classic!

This isn't one of my favourite Carry On films, but I do dig it out every know and then. I love Peter Butterworth's character (''pound!'') and the scenes between Kenneth Williams and Hattie Jacques. I think the ending let it down.

The banter between Sid and Mrs. Fussy is great stuff. 'Personally I've got sore misgivings' etc.

I wonder what her real voice is like? She's always dubbed in her films. Sometimes by June Whitfield, the ace pilot in Midsomer Murders the other night.

Perhaps the body AND the voice would be too much for us to take.

Quite normal to be fair, and they do use her voice in some of her films....but Carry on Girls is a mystery as to why that was done. Even Valerie wasnt aware until a few years ago when it was pointed out to her....

My second fave Carry On. I think the greatest is At Your Convenience. A complete film built around a toilet factory! Think of the double entendres!

Valerie had quite a task showing Charles Hawtrey how to get his Pole up..

I love the Carry on's bar a few later ones, least said..

I've met Val a few times and she has a great voice, it's always puzzled me the dubbing, though if you want to hear her real voice try Queen Kong….

She won't thank me for suggesting that..
