I have the whole series of The British Greats: Peter Finch, Jack Hawkins, Robert Donat, Leslie Howard and Gracie Fields. They are on DVD taken from off-air broadcasts in the early 80s. They are really excellent portraits. There were only five in the series, Barry Norman may have included Ronald Colman in another series, possibly, The Hollywood Greats. So sorry about my earlier response. Because Ronald Colman was English I jumped to the wrong conclusion. THE HOLLYWOOD GREATS preceded the British run,and went out before the days of taping. They comprised according to the BBC Programme Catalogue:
