    Hi,

love the site and hoping to do lots of trading. I am looking for a movie about a blind American guy that was dropped off at an address in London, instead of it being something Crescent he was dropped off at something Drive/Avenue or Road. When he went inside the house he fell over a dead body and so the mystery begins. Any ideas my fellow film buffs and where I might be able to get a copy?

    Thanks, here's hoping

Definitely sounds like Blackout. Max does adopt a sort of strange transatlantic accent in this so could easily be mistaken for an American. This is one of Max's better starring films and he gives quite a relaxed performance which is quite Roger Moore-like at times.

I just looked this up on IMDB and it does sound like a more likely contender as the hero is supposed to be American (played by Robert Mackenzie). There is a nice post from his son on the IMDB page for the film.

It could also be Blind Corner starring American actor William Sylvester in the early '60s
