I am looking for any horror inspired adverts such as the 70's Heiniken Frankenstein ad, Scream comic, Smiths Horror bags, Cadburys Monsters, the Frankenstein electricity ads with Clive Mantel as the monster, and any other horror/monster inspired ads.

Does anyone remember the Smirnoff advert when a little man comes out and it said "Beware the judderman my dear when the moon is full" what a creepy advert that was my daughter was only little at the time and was scared to death by it.

Great stuff, it was for Metz: I'm not sure you can still buy that. It reminded me of Canadian director Guy Maddin's Careful which I've been after for ages.

You can watch it all over again...

Yeps, that was a great advert.

I also liked the advert where a scruffy looking dog came out of a man's mouth... I forget what it was advertising... and it was banned because a load of idiots thought it was being cruel to the dog!!!

I thought it was very cleverly put together.

Some people honestly did they really think that it came out of the man's mouth.

I don't know the details... but there were complaints, so I heard, that people thought it was cruelty to the dog!!!

I've tried to find further info on the net and all I can find is that the record number of complaints about that advert were from parents saying it scared their children and adults claiming it made them vomit!!! So perhaps wherever I heard about the cruelty thing, may have been preying on the gullibility of people like me being silly enough to believe such complaints were made - lol - Or it may be that a small minority did complain about it being cruel... but the web pages I found are saving their blushes.

I thought it was a glorious advert.

That advert reminded me of the book ''Struwwelpeter'' which scared the living doodah out of me when I was a kid.

In fact, I just clicked on the YouTube link & had to shut it off after about 1.5 seconds; not the kind of thing to watch on your own at almost one in the morning...

Scarey in a jokey way was the 'Haywards pickled onions' with Vincent Price - the first pickles to bite back.
