I'm wondering if anyone has heard of this British movie made in 1949 or even seen it.



I don't seem to be able to get it on video or DVD.



One of the dancers, Eugenie Sivyer, is a cousin of my fathers and it would be lovely to get in touch with her.

One of the dancers, Eugenie Sivyer, is a cousin of my fathers and it would be lovely to get in touch with her.

It gets the occasional showing on TV. I'm pretty sure I have a copy of it from the last time it was shown. It's a bit of fluff with Anna Neagle and Michael Wilding where he inherits a dress shop and eventually gets the girl as well. Some nice musical routines and a lovely performance from Peter Graves (the UK one, not Mission Impossible's boss) as D'Arcy Davenport, the fashion guru.
