    I worked for Radio Luxembourg and we recorded shows in Hertford Street, London. The recordings were shipped to Luxembourg, broadcast and shipped back again. Once received back it was a legal requirement to bulk erase them.

    name='Kinvig']Well said, that man!

    I found it a fascinating glimpse into televisions, largely hidden, past. I was also suprised to see how little actual Rock 'n' Roll there was in the show. It was mostly jazz. Even The Deep River Boys, who were formed in the 1930s

    The deep River Boys brings back memories in the early fifties they played the Brighton Hippodrome,I was the only one waiting at the stage door for an autograph they whipped out a pic and each signed it for me, I was only about 10 yrs old they were very nice guys but alas the picture got lost in the mists of time

    I won 2 tickets to see Good Rockin' Tonite on David Hamilton's radio programme back in 1992 . It is still the best rock'n'roll show I've seen. Produced by Bill Kenwright and Jack Good.
