I have the same eight episodes and, like you, I'd be very interested in getting the rest.
I've also got the Dinner For One sketch from German TV if you are interested.
I understand 15 episodes survive, and I have these 8:-
THE BED - episode 1 of 39 (original pilot)
THE BACK - episode 4 of 39
THE BUSINESS DINNER - episode 7 of 39
THE STRAIN - episode 8 of 39
BROTHER TOM - episode 23 of 39
THE MERRY WIDOW - episode 25 of 39
JOURNEY HOME - episode 26 of 39
OLD TIME DANCING - episode 33 of 39
Does anyone have any other episodes?
This is a very funny BBC sitcom starring Thora Hird & Freddie Frinton, written by the writing team behind The Rag Trade and On The Buses. I'd love to see more episodes of this.
Thanks

Hi,
Does anyone please have any of the following?
Plenty to trade if you can please help.
IF - "Rock Of The Seventies"
BB KING - "Live On The Tube"
OSCAR PETERSON - "Jazz At The Gateway" (series from Scottish TV)
RON MOODY - "Royal Variety Performance" Early 1990's when he did two songs from Oliver : "Reviewing the situation" and "Got To Pick A Pocket Or Two" I think..
Thanks and kind regards,
Edward G
A release of, presumably, all the surviving episodes.

This is great news Phil.![]()
Excellent - thanks Phil!
Zavvi says it's 290 minutes across 2 DVDs so only about 10 episodes out of the 17 that survive. Still, better than nothing, and a definite purchase from me :-)
A duration of 290 minutes does seem a bit, as it implies 11 or 12 episodes out of the 17 that exist, meaning it would require a split in the middle of Series 4 if they plan to do two releases in chronological order. There's also the 1964 Christmas Night With the Stars segment to contend with. It wouldn't surprise me if the 290 turns out to be an error.
I hope it is an error and that Simply Media do issue all surviving episodes including the Christmas Night sketch. I posted this question on their Facebook site but they never replied. Amazon lists it as a 2 DVD set so I've a feeling that we'll only be getting up to 12 episodes and not 17.
Hello does anyone still have this for sale as i would to by the series.
